DENVER – Ninety-three Seattle U student athletes are among those recognized as the Western Athletic Conference announced the 2021-22 Academic All-WAC honorees for fall and winter sports. A total of 1,534 student athletes across 12 sports were honored.
To be eligible for the honor, a student athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
Seattle U's 94 honorees was third most across the 13 league institutions. Of the fall sports, women's soccer had the most honored with 144. Winter sports were led by women's indoor track and field, which had 135 honored.
