2023 Indoor: Was a part of the WAC Championship winning and school record setting DMR team (Franklin, I. Payne, Holme, Harquail – 10:00.10) and the second fastest DMR team (Franklin, I. Payne, Goodwin, Harquail – 10:00.19) in school history… was also a part of the third fastest indoor 4x400m Relay in school history (Law, Holme, Rosario, Blunden – 3:22.41)
2022 Outdoor: Posted SU's all-time best, eighteenth in the WAC and new personal best of 21.47 in the 200m during the OSU PNW Invite for a first place finish…posted SU's all-time best wind aided, 21st in the WAC and new personal best in the 100m during the for a first place finish…part of a season best time of 42.06 in the 4x100m during the OSU PNW Invite for a first place finish…part of SU's ninth all time best of 3:22.47 in the 4x400m during the 2022 WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships for a eighth place finish…
2022 Indoor: Academic All-WAC... posted WAC's 16th-best adjusted, SU's second all-time and new personal best of 21.76 in the 200m at the WAC Championships... was apart SU's third best all-time distance medley relay team that ran 10:15.30 at the UW Invite... was apart SU's fourth best all-time 4x400m relay team that ran 3:23.71 at the WAC Championships... ran WAC's 18th-best and season best time of 6.98 in the 60m at the Husky Classic.
2021 Outdoor: All-WAC Second Team... Academic All-WAC... ran the WAC's 11th-best and new school record of 21.51 in the 200m at the Fresno State Invitational... Also at this meet, ran the WAC's 10th-best, SU's second all-time and new personal record of 10.68 in the 100m... apart of SU's fourth ranked all-time 4x100m relay team that ran 41.69 at the WAC Championship... took first place in 100m races at Doris Heritage Invitational (10.91) and Chris Rinne Twilight (10.78)... took first place in 200m races at Chris Rinne Twilight (21.77) and OSU High Performance Meet (21.77).
2020 Indoor: Academic All-WAC… posted a time of 22.94 in the 200m dash at the WAC Indoor Championships… posted the WAC’s 10th-best 200m dash time of the season with 22.07 at the Husky Classic… that time was also the second-best in program indoor history… also set a PR in the 60m dash at that meet with a fourth-place 6.95, second in school indoor history… at the Portland Indoor One, set a Chiles Center record in the 200m dash with his first-place time of 22.53… ran the 60m dash in 6.99 at the UW Preview.
2019 Outdoor: Seattle U Track and Field Male Freshman of the Year... Academic All-WAC... reached the 10th-best mark in the WAC with a personal-best 21.65 in the 200m dash at the WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships… also took fourth place with the 4x100m relay team with a time of 42.06 and ran 3:22.90 with the 4x400m relay team at that meet… took third place in his heat with a 10.93 100m dash at that meet… at the Oregon State High Performance meet, had the 10th-best 100m dash time in the conference at 10.72, good for fifth place and a personal best… also took fourth place in the 200m dash with 21.67 and second place with the 4x100m relay team’s time of 42.32 at that meet… ran the 100m dash in 10.88 at the Bryan Clay Invitational… with the 4x100m relay team, had a time of 43.32 at the St. Martin’s Jay Hammer Invitational… took third place with a 100m dash time of 10.92 and fifth place with the 4x100m relay team’s 43.22 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic… at the Doris Heritage Track Festival, won second place in the 100m dash with his time of 11.04 and took fifth in the 200m dash at 22.21… also in that meet, finished in second place with the 4x100 relay team after posting a time of 42.92.
2019 Indoor: Ran a personal-best 22.00 200m dash, the eighth-best mark in the conference, at the WAC Indoor Track and Field Championships… at the Last Chance College Elite, ran the 60m dash in a 6.96 for the WAC’s 10th-best mark of the season… had a time of 7.08 in the 60m dash and 22.51 in the 200m dash at the Husky Classic… took second place with the 4x400m relay team at the Cougar Indoor, finishing in 3:31.31… at the UW Invitational, ran the 50m dash in 7.10… had a time of 7.10 in the 60m dash and 22.73 in the 200m dash at the UW Preview.
A four-year varsity letterwinner in track at Seabury Hall, Payne competed at state championships every year of his high school career… holds the Maui Interscholastic League records for both the 100m and 200m sprints, with respective times of 10.81 and 21.82… undefeated in sprints until State in both his junior and senior year… was awarded Seabury Hall's Male Athlete of the Year in 2018 for his accomplishments in both track and basketball… his play on the basketball court garnered him three straight MIL Basketball Player of the Year awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Isaiah Payne is pursuing careers in both track and business... majoring in business management at Seattle U.
