Jenny Park was named the Redhawks' head coach in June 2013 after serving as the assistant coach for the rowing team in 2012.
The Redhawks have earned back-to-back WIRA Petite titles under Park, winning the varsity eight race in both 2023 and 2024.
Since 2018, the Redhawks have earned 39 CRCA Scholar Athlete awards as well as four CSC Academic All-District honorees. Under Park's guidance, the Redhawks have also earned the Seattle U Mission Award for Justice, awarded to Hannah Sjogren in 2022.
Rowing has posted a perfect Graduation Success Rate in five of the last six years as well, dating back to 2018.
In the 2015-16 season, Park coached the V8+ to a third-place finish at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships. Throughout the season, Park led the v8+ team to four top-3 finishes.
Jenny Park graduated from the University of Washington in spring of 2010, where she rowed all four years as a varsity athlete. In 2008, she had an undefeated season which included PAC-10 and NCAA National Championship titles. Upon graduating, Jenny moved to Princeton, N.J., to train with the US National Rowing Team. She moved back to Seattle in the summer of 2011, where she accepted the novice assistant coaching position at the University of Washington.
