SEATTLE – Back in the water for their first official competition since Nov. 3, 2019, Seattle University women's rowing heads to American Lake in Lakewood, Wash., on Saturday to take part in the PLU Invitational, hosted by Pacific Lutheran University.

"We are all thrilled to finally be competing again," said Head Coach Jenny Park. "This hasn't been the year any of us expected, but we are all so grateful to have the opportunity to be back out there and have a season. The team has been showing up everyday, and putting in the work. We are excited to see how it this season plays out."

The Redhawks will compete in two flights of V8+ and 2V8+ races, deploying a mix of line-ups over the four races. The field will include the host PLU, Seattle U, University of Portland and University of Puget Sound. Competition begins at 9 a.m. No spectators are allowed on site, but a live stream of the racing will be available here.
