Joe Harvie
Joe Harvie served on the Seattle U golf staff as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 season. 

Since graduating from Seattle U, Harvie has been playing professionally on the PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour Latinoamerica. The native of Orting, Wash., spent the 2022 spring season as a volunteer assistant coach for the men's and women's program. 

Harvie was one of the best Redhawks in recent history, claiming numerous awards and records in his four years. A member of Seattle U's 2017 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship team, Harvie was the first Redhawk to win a WAC Freshman of the Year award and holds the school record for finish percentage (67.7%) and made birdies (390).

Harvie is a three-time WAC All-Academic recipient, two-time Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar and holds a First and Second Team All-WAC award. He ranks third all-time in player career scoring average (73.44) after playing the most rounds of anyone in their career.

"I am so grateful for the opportunity," said Harvie. "I am looking forward to giving back to a University that gave me so much. I can't wait to make this a great year."
