Seattle University track and field head coach Trisha Steidl has set the lineup of 22 student-athletes who will be traveling to Nampa, Idaho, for the 2008 GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championships next Monday, Feb. 18.

Leading the way for the men’s team is sophomore Daniel Sullivan (), who posted the conference’s best time in the 60 meter dash during the regular season. Besides that event, Sullivan will also be competing in the 200 meter dash, 400 meter run, and the 4x400 meter relay. Christopher Fussell (, ) and Travis Glover () will also run in the 60 meter dash and 200 meter dash, with Fussell also participating in the long jump and Glover joining Sullivan in the relay.

Loyal Allen, Jr. () will run in the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter run and will be the 4x400 meter relay, as will Jude Anthony Martinez (Hagatua, Guam), who will also compete in the 400 meter run and the high jump. Another male sprinter in the conference meet is d'Andre Benjamin (), who is competing in the 200 meter dash, the 60 meter hurdles, the long jump, and the distance medley relay. Besides Benjamin, Robert Poshusta () is also running in the 60 meter hurdles.

In the distance events, Graham Miller (, ) is running in the 800 meter run, the mile, and the distance medley relay, while Nicholas Alvarado () is running in the mile and the 5000 meter run. Hans Heitzinger (, ) and Michael Van Nuland () are both competing in the 5000 meter run and the distance medley relay. In field events, Udoka Odoemene () is participating in both the long jump and the triple jump.

For the women’s team, Elizabeth Wolf () is competing in the 60 meter dash, the 200 meter dash, and the distance medley relay. Erin Moon (, ) and Rachel Purcell (, ) are both participating in the 400 meter run, while Rachael Johnson (, ) will take part in the 800 meter run and Courtney Cabebe () will compete in the pole vault. Moon, Purcell, Johnson, and Cabebe will also join forces for the 4x400 meter relay.

Distance runners Katie Hansen (, ) and Rachel Yorkston (, ) will be in the 5000 meter run, while Greta Stickney () will compete in the mile. Those three will join Wolf in the distance medley relay. In field events, Mara Becker (, ) will compete in the high jump, and Lindsay Currier () will participate in the shot put.

will be looking to improve on its 2007 results, when the men’s team finished sixth while the women’s team finished in seventh place.
