2009-10 Track & Field: At Albertsons, competed in 1500 Meter Run, placed 16th with a time of 5:07.67 ... At Pelluer Invitational, competed in 1500 Meter Run, placed 4th with a time of 5:20.94 ... At Willamette Invitational, competed in 1500 Meter Run, placed 48th with a time of 19:27.66 ... at Duane Hartman Invitational, competed in 5000 Meter Run, placed 26th with a time of 19:58.59 ... at Ken Shannon Invitational, competed in 5000 Meter Run, placed 11th with a time of 20:24.76.

2009 Cross Country: Ran a 27:56 at the West Coast Preview 6K event on Sept. 11th, a 25:13 at Sundodger Sept. 19th, and a 25:41 at the Emerald City Invite Oct. 3rd. Finished with a time of 19:43 at the Mike Hodges Invitational on Oct. 16th. Completed the Great West Conference Championships with a time of 25:06.87 on Oct. 31.

2008 Cross Country: After a third-place finish at the three-mile Greenlake Time Trial (18:48), Greta was the second-fastest runner on the women's squad the rest of the season. She finished in 28th place at the Pier Park Preview with a time of 24:43.35 and also posted a time of 24:19.1 at the Roy Griak Invitational. Greta crossed the finish line in 12th place at the Emerald City Open (25:25), and then she finished in 26th place at the Cascade Conference Preview (18:58.43) and in 20th place at the Beaver Classic (22:35). 

2007 Cross Country: Stickney started the season with a 20th place finish at the Emerald City Invitational in 26:27.73. She followed that with a 50th place finish at the Pier Park Preview in 24:45 and an 80th place finish in the Charles Bowles Invitational with a time of 19:35.15. After a 27th place finish at the Western Washington Invitational in 24:54, she placed 38th at the GNAC Championships in 24:02 and 61st at the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 22:44. Stickney was named to the GNAC All-Academic squad for her performance in the classroom. 

2006 Cross Country: Greta finished the Sundodger Invitational in a time of 25:02. She finished 33rd at the Emerald City Invitational in a time of 27:15.52. Ran an 5k time of 19:59.30 at the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Ore. Covered the 6k course at the Western Washington Invite in a time of 26:19. Completed her season at the West Region meet in Chico, Calif. with a 119th place finish, covering the course in 26:42.43.

High School: Greta was a three-time team MVP at North Kitsap High School. A team captain her senior season, she was named Most Inspirational as well after her senior year. She led the Vikings to the state championships, where the team finished 15th. She also participated on the track and field team and earned the Most Improved Award in her sophomore season. Her personal bests were 19:16 for five kilometers, 5:29 for 1600 meters, and 2:25 for 800 meters.

Personal: Greta's parents are Larry and Cheryl Stickney. She is majoring in creative writing with a minor in french at Seattle University.
