Highline CC: Loyal was a team captain for the Highline Community College Thunderbirds.
High School: At Rainier Beach High School, Loyal was a team captain in the 1999-2000 season. In 1999, he was part of the state championship 4x100 relay team as well as the 4x400 relay team that finished in fourth place. He also played basketball and ran cross country during his high school career.
Personal: Loyal is the son of Loyal Sr. and Lorraine Allen. He is majoring in social work at Seattle University.
