2010 Indoor Track: Hans posted a personal best of 8:53.23 in the 3000 Meter run at the UW Indoor Preview. Competed in the Great West Conference Championships in South Dakota finishing eighth in the 5000 with a time of 15:32.18.
2009 Cross Country: Heitzinger ran a 27:36 at the West Coast Preview 8K event on Sept. 11th, a 25:35 at Sundodger on Sept. 19th, and led the Seattle Univeristy runners with a time of 27:31 at the Emerald City Invite on Oct. 3rd. Finished with a time of 27:10.33 at the Great West Conference Championship on Oct. 31.
2008-2009 Indoor Track and Field: Heitzinger ran his opening race of the season with a 3000 Meter time of 9:08.59 at the UW Indoor Preview on Jan. 17th and placed 5th at the University of Portland Indoor with a 3000 Meter time of 9:08.1 on Feb. 6th.
2008 Cross Country: After starting the season with a third-place finish at the 4.3-mile Greenlake Time Trial (23:09), Hans led all SeattleU runners at the Pier Park Preview, finishing in 27th place with a time of 26:59.39. He competed in both the Roy Griak Invitational (28:03.4) and the Emerald City Open (29:17) during the middle of the season. Hans ended the season with two strong performances, finishing 25th at the Cascade Conference Preview (27:03.14) and 47th at the Beaver Classic (26:17).
2007 Cross Country: Heitzinger started his collegiate career with a sixth place finish at the Emerald City Invitational with a time of 28:20.43. He finished 29th at the Pier Park Preview in 26:46.5, followed by a solid performance at the Charles Bowles Invitational (129th - 26:58.60). He finished 34th at the Western Washington Invitational in 34:58.6, 49th at the GNAC Championships in 27:23, and 61st at the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 33:00.
Brophy College Prep: Heitzinger was captain and MVP of both cross-country and track his senior seasons at Brophy. Was All-State in cross-country and finished fifth in the state in the 3200 meters in track. Helped is team to a 5A Arizona State Championship in cross-country in 2003. Team also won regional championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006 in track. Best times include 9:42 in the 3200 meters and 4:30 in the 1600 meters.
