"The team went out and competed well today. Everyone was tired from training as we continue to build through the early season. The focus of this meet was to go out and compete with confidence, learn from the experience, and take the information from this meet to move forward towards our goals. The team did a very good job of doing just that. There were some great marks set today, highlighted by our five school records. Throughout the team, there were great experiences gained from this competition that will help set us up for future success, especially when we're less tired. I look forward to everyone building upon what they gained from today," Seattle U head track and field coach Trisha Steidl said.

The Seattle University track and field team will return to Dempsey Indoor for the UW Invitational Jan. 25-26. The action on Friday, Jan. 25, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with the competition Saturday, Jan. 26, scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
