Seattle U track and field will send many of their best runners to compete in the second day of the University of Portland Meet, held in the Chiles Center on Jan. 26.

PORTLAND, ORE. – Seattle U track and field enters their second competition of the season, the University of Portland Meet, on Sunday, Jan. 26. The team will send a large group of runners to the event, which will kick off at the Chiles Center in Portland, Ore., at 12:00 p.m. PT. This will be the first time that Seattle U has entered a meet hosted by the University of Portland.
 
"Portland just installed a brand-new, world-class Beynon track surface – we're excited to see how it runs," said Head Coach Kelly Sullivan. "This is a great new experience for the team."
 
The Redhawks will be competing against runners from George Fox, Linfield, Northwest U, Oregon State, Pacific (Ore.), Portland, Portland State, Saint Martin's, Seattle Pacific, Simon Fraser and Western Oregon, along with a number of unattached athletes.
