Cross Country to Wrap Up Regular Season at LC Invitational

ESTACADA, Ore. - Seattle U men's and women's cross country will travel to Oregon one last time to compete at the Lewis and Clark Invitational at Milo McIver State Park in Estacada, Oregon. The women's team will race a 6k at 10:15 AM PST, and the men will race an 8k at 11:00 AM PST.

ESTACADA, Ore. - Seattle U men's and women's cross country will travel to Oregon one last time to compete at the Lewis and Clark Invitational at Milo McIver State Park in Estacada, Oregon. The women's team will race a 6k at 10:15 AM PST, and the men will race an 8k at 11:00 AM PST. 

The women's team will see the start line again after finishing first as a team at the Charles Bowles Invitational. Freshman Caitlyn O'Neil had a huge race, finishing seventh overall in a time of 18:17 for 5k. The women had four women place in the top-20 of the race, and defeated Hawaii, Oregon State, University of Portland, and Portland State University. 

Alex Franklin led the men's team at the Charles Bowles Invitational, as he cracked the 25-minute barrier for the first time. Franklin ran a PR of 24:55 in the 8k to place 17th overall. Gus Harquaill was in close pursuit of Franklin, as he ran 25:14 to place 25th overall. The men's team placed fifth overall at the meet.
