High school: A four-year letterwinner for cross country and track and field, Harris also earned three letters for varsity soccer at Ann Sobrato High School… qualified for the USA Track and Field (USATF) Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in 2016 and 2018… placed fifth in her group in the 5k run in the 2018 Junior Olympics and 10th in her group in 2016… also qualified for State in 2016 and 2018… was the 2019 Sobrato Scholar Athlete of the Year… was the team MVP for cross country in 2016 and 2017, as well as the team MVP for track and field in 2016… took first place in the 5k run at the 2018 Blossom Valley Athletic League Championships with a PR of 19:02.00... ran for the Los Gatos Track Club for four years.
Personal: Emily Harris is majoring in Political Science and minoring in Environmental Science and Economics at Seattle University… she aspires to become an environmental lawyer… was a National Honors Society historian at Sobrato High.
