SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Seattle U cross country continues its postseason push on Friday at the NCAA West Regionals in Sacramento, California. The event will be held at Haggin Oaks Golf Course with the women's 6k beginning at 10 a.m. and the men's 10k starting at 11 a.m.
37 schools will be competing in this year's west regional with the likes of Oregon, Stanford and Washington leading the way. The three Pac-12 school have men's and women's teams ranked in the top-30 nationally, according to the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Association (USTFCCCA).
The women's squad set seven new personal bests two weeks ago at the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships as redshirt sophomore Rowan Cuadrado and sophomore Emily Harris were the top finishers, crossing the finish line about ten seconds apart.
