Director of Athletics Shaney Fink leads the Athletics Kick-Off Event, welcoming student athletes back to campus and setting forth the department's goals for the year. The event is a great opportunity for student athletes to start building connections with one another.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves in an advisory capacity to the athletics department. SAAC is comprised of two members from each team; this committee meets every two weeks.
Tuesday, October 1st @ 7:30 pm -- Engaging with New Confidence -- Career Event
Mandatory for first year student athletes.
The Career Engagement Office leads this workshop entitled "Engaging with New Confidence." This training is set up for two desired outcomes: (a) how to make an engaging introduction in different social settings, and (b) how to engage in the classroom with advice from Seattle U professors.

Dinner, a scavenger hunt in and around campus and fellowship.
Monday, October 7th @ 7:30 pm -- Mock Interviews/Networking -- Career Event
Mandatory for seniors/graduate students.
This mock interviews/networking event is the signature career preparation workshop for seniors/graduate student athletes.
Mandatory for sophomore student athletes.

All international student athletes are invited to a social event to connect with one another. Special guest is Dale Watanabe, Director -- International Student Center.
