Alumni Reflections

Emma Mitchell, '19, Softball
After Seattle U, I attended law school at St. Louis University. While in school, I stayed involved in sports, returning to my high school, Visitation Academy of St. Louis, as an assistant girls varsity basketball coach. This coaching experience helped me greatly in making the transition to life after being a collegiate student athlete. I have really enjoyed being back in the familiar territory of athletics. Additionally, it is one wonderful way to give back to the community that I grew up in.

Olivia Crawford, '20, Women's Basketball
After graduation, I left Seattle and headed out to a small town in Iceland to pursue a professional basketball career. While in Iceland, I coached a youth girls basketball team in my free time which was a wonderful way to connect to the local community. What has helped me most with my transition to life after Seattle U is keeping in touch with my former teammates including taking turns hosting watch parties for each other's games.
