SEATTLE - Seattle University volleyball puts on two home events in its early season, hosting its Red/White scrimmage on Friday, August 21 at 6 pm along with an exhibition against Portland State on Saturday, August 22 at 2 pm at the Redhawk Center.
Admission to both events is free and open to the public.
The Redhawks welcomed five transfers in the offseason in Hailey McEllrath, Bella Jones, Clara Garcia, Lexi Jones and Chloee Leslie along with a seven athlete freshman class (Tierney Ervin, Linnaea Moore, Janae Demant, Vai Unga, Mikayla Liljenquist, Orinayo Olukanmi and Elaina Duong). They join SU’s four returners from last year’s squad after graduating three.
Seattle U officially debuts on August 28 when it hosts its 2026 Steve Nimocks Redhawk Invitational, featuring matches against North Dakota, Chicago State and Eastern Washington. The Redhawks kick off the year against Chicago State on Friday, August 28 at 6pm.
