CORVALLIS, Ore. – Twelve times the Seattle University Redhawks recorded new all-time top ten times at the Oregon State High Performance Meet. That included Alex Jensen breaking the 800m school record for the second straight meet, as well as JR Zamora record the second-longest long jump in school history.

Jensen (800m), Zamora (Long Jump), Rachel Albright (Hammer), Lilianne Hargreaves (800m), Alisha Saucedo (800m), Rock Gignac (Javelin & 110m Hurdles), Manthita Wague (Triple Jump), Annabelle Clapp (400m), and Taylor Marks (100m) all individually recorded new top-ten times. The 4x400m Relay team of Marks, Clapp, Kristina Shkalenkova, and Hargreaves ran the seventh-best time in school history as well with a 3:56.09.

Albright had the first new top-ten time of the meet for the Redhawks with the sixth-best hammer throw in school history. Albright's 37.96m throw moved her to sixth all-time, passing Sara Blakely.

In the long jump, Zamora had a 6.76m distance, improving on his own personal best by .06m. He remains second all-time, just .24m behind Jamaari Jefferson's 7.00m school record. In the 800m, Jensen, Hargreaves, and Saucedo all set new top-ten times. Jensen ran a 1:50.33, beating his own school record, set just last meet, by .30 seconds. Hargreaves moved from eighth all-time to fifth with her time of 2:13.04. Saucedo had the tenth-best 800m with a 2:15.29, just .19 seconds behind Rachael Johnson for ninth.

Gignac is now seventh in SU history in the javelin (46.50m) and tenth in the 110m H (18.82). In the triple jump, Wague won the event and improved on her personal best, the third-best distance in SU history, with a 11.89m. Clapp ran a 58.04 in the 400m, the seventh-best time in SU history.

In the 100m, both Marks and Tibbo moved up in the top ten. Marks had a 12.64, moving from seventh to sixth, passing Julie Smith's time of 12.67. Tibbo ran a 12.90, good for tenth in SU history and just .1 seconds behind Michelle Newblom in ninth.

In addition to the top-ten times, the Redhawks saw a number of personal bests. Kaylyn Huyn (27.04) and Isabella Bass (27.35) each set personal bests in the 200m. In the 1500m, Clapp (4:45.09), Jordan White (5:03.49), and Sierra Swart (5:11.54) set personal bests. The 800m saw Alexzander Osorio (1:58.00), Diego Razo-Castaneda (2:01.65), Shkalenkova (2:19.08), and Swart (2:27.93) set personal bests. Bass (1:04.45) and Matthew Fiso (51.29) set personal bests in the 400m, while Huynh (13.22) and Bass (13.34) also did so in the 100m.

The Redhawks have just one more meet before the WAC Outdoor Championships, which are May 15-17. That final regular season meet will be the Oregon Twilight Meet, hosted by Oregon in Eugene on May 9.
