The Redhawks have not lost a series to Grand Canyon, this weekend's opponent, since 2018, when they dropped two of three.

BIG TIME BAT
Carley Nance is now second in the nation in RBI, just one behind UCF's Jada Cody for the national lead. Nance's 52 RBI are the fourth-most in a single season in school history, behind only Jane Purdy (58 in 2006) and Madison Cathcart (57 in 2018, 55 in 2019). Nance's 13 home runs are the second-most in a single season in Seattle U history, behind only Cathcart (19 in 2018).
TAI GOODNESS
Tai Wilson has multiple hits in six of her last seven games, hitting .640 in that time. Wilson now has four games with 3+ hits this year, including three in her last seven games. No other freshman has had multiple 3+ hit games since Olivia Viggiano and Ally Choate in 2018, with Choate doing so six times that year. No freshman in the WAC has more hits than Wilson, who needs just one more to become the 12th player in the conference with 40+ hits on the year.
OL OF THE HITS
Olivia Viggiano is now on a career-long nine-game hit streak. That is the longest hit streak by a Redhawk this year. Seattle U's last double-digit hit streaks came in 2021, when Ally Choate had a 15-game hit streak and Bailey Thompson a 12-game hit streak. The Redhawks have had just five other hit streaks of 10+ games in the last ten years: Paige Bouska (13 in 2017, 14 in 2015), Rose Saenz (12 in 2015), Lisa Maulden (10 in 2014), and Isabella Geronimo (11 in 2013).
MADRIGAL DOES IT ALL
Stefanie Madrigal received her first career at-bats and her first career start anywhere but in the circle, starting at first base in two games at New Mexico State. Madrigal went 2-for-5 at the plate and did not make an error in 14 chances in the field. Madrigal recorded her first career hit, first career extra-base hit, and first career RBI in those two games. Madrigal now has more doubles at the plate in her five career at-bats than she has allowed in her last 18.2 innings pitched.
BIG GAME GARCIA
Lily Garcia entered this season with three career RBI across two seasons. This year, Garcia has three games with at least three RBI, including two last weekend. Garcia has five games with multiple RBI this season and ten with multiple hits.
ALL SHE DOES IS WIN
Carley Nance saw her first action in the circle since March 12 last weekend, recording a complete-game shutout of New Mexico State. It was Nance's 33rd career complete game and fifth career shutout, putting her sixth all-time in complete games and tied for fifth in shutouts. Nance's 45 career wins are third all-time, behind only Erin Martin (89 wins) and Andie Larkins (48 wins).
