“I’m really proud of the guys”, said head coach Mark Frisby. “Everyone really stepped up today to earn the win.”
The doubles matches tied at one apiece, Ian Clare (Sachse, Texas) and Matt Alderson (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) would come back from trailing, 4-1, to win, 7-5, in the third doubles match to clinch the first point for Seattle U.
The Redhawks would win the first four singles matches to clinch the victory before Eastern Washington won the final two.
