Won the orange consolation bracket at the Dar Walters Classic at Boise State on Oct. 4-6 ... alongside teammate Zach Kosanke, defeated Boise State's Mitchell/Hewko, 8-6, at the Dar Walters Classic in one of the most significant wins since the rebirth of the program ... advanced to the Flight #2 quarterfinals at the EWU Classic on Sept. 27-29

Spring 2013: 4-17 in singles play ... defeated Soutehrn Utah’s Alex Dial 6-4, 6-1 ... took down Portland State’s Ian Risenhoover 6-4, 6-1 on Feb. 1 ... beat Gonzaga’s Pablo Mosquera Perez in two sets Jan. 11 ... 2-13 in doubles play ... teamed up with Zach Kosanke to defeat Blank and Degardin of New Mexico State 8-6 April 12 ... with Kosanke, beat Southern Utah’s Nielsen and Dial 8-0 March 24.

Fall 2012: 2-4 in singles play ... beat Eastern Washington's Stefan Farrar in straight sets at Boise State Fall Classic Oct. 5 ... 0-4 in doubles play.

High School: Clare spent four years on the Sachse High varsity tennis team. He was team MVP all four years for the Mustangs, and team captain his senior year. He also earned All-District designations his freshman and sophomore year, making it to the district regional tournament two years as well.

Club Experience: Clare has been a USTA Super Champ since age 10 and has since been one of the top-30 ranked players in Texas. He played in many college ITA tournaments while in high school, wining matches against players from UTSA, Northern Colorado, and Marquette, among other schools.

Personal: Full name Ian Farad Clare. His mom is Wendy Montgomery, and he has an older brother named Harrison Clare who played tennis at Drexel University. Clare is an international business major and would like to be a game show host. He also enjoys swimming, music, and comedy.
