FINAL REGULAR SEASON GAMES: Seattle University does not have to worry about clinching a berth in the WAC Baseball Tournament, as the Redhawks secured their spot last weekend. They will be home for the remainder of the regular season, with the only "road" game taking place at Washington’s Husky Ballpark Tuesday. The Redhawks will look to improve their seeding when they host Bakersfield over the weekend before closing out the regular season against Washington State.

THE PREVIOUS WEEK: Although Seattle University lost two of three to Utah Valley over the weekend, the Redhawks still clinched a spot in the WAC Baseball Tournament thanks to other results within the league. Friday, Seattle U took a 7-1 lead, but gave up back-to-back four-run innings to fall behind, 9-7. Seattle U scored single runs in the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings, with Cullen Hendrickson’s ninth-inning home run proving to be the game-winning tally. Grant Gunning faced the minimum six batters in two innings for the victory, while Connor Moore pitched a perfect ninth inning for his first save of the season. Big innings proved to be the Redhawks’ undoing in Saturday’s doubleheader, as Seattle U lost both games, 8-2 and 9-4. Sam Finfer went 5-for-8 in the twinbill.
