Personal: Acker is the second child of Paul and Shauna. He has an older brother named Keegan Acker who played baseball at Gonzaga and cousin Reese Baker who pitched at Washington State. Born in December 30, 1990 in Santa Monica, he is enrolled in the master's degree program in sports administration and leadership after receiving his bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Washington.
