College: Fields played in the outfield for Treasure Valley Community College from 2010 to 2012. He was named First Team All-Conference Outfielder in 2012 along with a First-Team East Region designation that year, and earned Second Team East Region honors the year before. He made the Honor Roll every quarter at TVCC and was named Student-Athlete of the Year in 2012.
High School: Fields spent three years on the varsity baseball team at Ontario High, playing in the outfield for the Tigers. He was also on the varsity wrestling team for four years and played varsity football for three. He placed in the wrestling state championship meet all four years on the team, taking third place three times and fifth place once.
Personal: Full name Chase Patrick Fields. Parents are Tish and Jack Fields, and he has an older brother named Lucas. Fields is a mechanical engineering major and will pursue a career in military aviation after graduation. He enjoys hunting, fishing, waterskiing, and camping.
