The men’s basketball team had difficulty putting away the Lewis-Clark State Warriors, but a 15-4 run late in the second half allowed the home team to pull out a 75-68 victory Thursday night at the .

Four players scored in double figures for , led by Leigh Swanson (), who scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half, plus grabbed six rebounds, dished out two assists, and earned three blocked shots. Austen Powers (, ) and Chris Gweth (, ) each scored 12 points, and Mike Boxley () hit five straight free throws in the final minute to finish with 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

The score was tied 11-11 after six minutes of play when scored ten unanswered points, eight of them by Swanson, to pull out to a 21-11 advantage. Lewis-Clark State outscored SeattleU in the final six minutes of the first half, 15-5, to take a 34-33 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Warriors held a five-point lead three different times in the second half, the last time at 47-42 eight minutes into the second half, before the Redhawks went on a 9-1 run, punctuated by a three-pointer from Taylor Olson (Seattle, Wash.), to retake the lead at 51-48. Brian Duckworth converted a traditional three-point play to tie the game, and Drew Arnold followed with a layup to give the Warriors a brief lead before SeattleU went on its run to seal the victory.

, designating this game as an exhibition contest, received 22 points from Curtis Allen on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, while Duckworth finished with 16 points, four assists, and five steals. Tanner McIntosh pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds as the Warriors won the rebounding battle, 39-28, but several of those came late in the game as Lewis-Clark State grabbed long rebounds after missing three-point attempts in a last-ditch effort to come from behind.
