2009-10: Olson played in 26 games for the Redhawks, averaing 11.5 minutes per game. He averaged 3.4 points per game and was strong presence at the line, hitting all but three free throws over the season, going 21-for-24. He led the team with a .875 percentage. Olson had two of his best games at the end of the season, including hitting all 3 three-pointers in Idaho. During the team's last home game, Olson scored 10 points, his second best tally of the season. 

 

2008-09: Olson played in 28 of the Redhawk’s 29 games his senior season averaging 2.8 points on 43.5 percent shooting from the field in 9.1 minutes per game. He scored a season-high 15 February 27th at North Dakota, going 5-for-8 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. Olson made every free throw he attempted on the season, hitting 9-for-9.

2007-08: Olson appeared in 18 games for the Redhawks during his sophomore season, averaging 1.1 points and 0.7 rebounds in 4.6 minutes per game. Olson missed just one free throw on the season, going 14-for-15 (93 percent). Off the court, Olson was one of three men's basketball players to receive Academic All-GNAC honors for his GPA. 

2006-07: Olson gained experience during his freshman season by playing in 12 games, averaging 3.3 minutes per game. For the season, Olson totaled 12 points and six assists.  Olson tallied a season-high three points in three different contests, including November 18 versus Ashland when he also had an assist, a steal, and a block as well.

High School: Olson improved as a player every year at Bishop Blanchet High School, averaging 14 ppg as a sophomore, 18 ppg as a junior, and 21 ppg as a senior. He scored over 1,000 points in his high school career and was named First Team All-League in 2006, Second Team All-League in 2005, and Third Team All-League in 2004. He helped the Braves reach the state playoffs in his junior season.

Personal: Born July 5, 1987, Taylor is the son of Bill and Sara Olson. He is majoring in business management at Seattle University.
