2009-2010: Boxley started 25 out of Seattle's 31 games his senior season. He averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and over 25 minutes per game. He ended the season with a total of 40 steals and was second on the team with 43 offensive rebounds. He had his two strongest games midway through the season, first at LMU where he scored a season-high 21 points, and again at Oregon State where he was 7-for-10 in FG and and hit 4-of-7 three-pointers.
2008-09: Boxley started 28 out of Seattle’s 29 games as junior. He averaged 8.7 points, and 4.2 rebounds in 27.7 minutes on the floor. Boxley was a strong defensive presence, ranking second on the team with 51 steals. He registered a season-high 18 points, going a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line, in the Redhawk’s final home game, a victory over SIU Edwardsville March 7. He had a career-high 15 rebounds in a win at Cal Poly December 14.
2007-08: Boxley played in all 27 of Seattle's games during his sophomore season, and started in 17 of those games. He averaged 6.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game. Boxley shot 65 percent from the charity stripe and was tied for the team lead in blocked shots with 11 on the season. He had his season high 8 rebounds twice in games on January 5 at Montana State Billings, and on February 7 at Northwest Nazerene where he also scored 12 points going 6-of-10 shooting.
2006-07: Boxley started 28 of Seattle’s 29 games as a freshman. He averaged 3.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 22.4 minutes of action. Boxley also accumulated 30 steals and 13 blocks on the year as one of Seattle’s top defensive players. He scored a season high eight points four times, including on January 11 versus Western Washington when he shot a perfect 4-4 from the field. His top rebounding performance came on December 2 versus Hawaii-Hilo when he grabbed nine boards. Boxley totaled four steals and two blocks in the regular-season finale, a win at Western Oregon on March 3, which clinched a share of the GNAC title and a spot in the postseason.
Mountlake Terrace HS: Named to the WIBCA All-State Team as a senior. Three-year starter, averaged 13 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists as a senior. A team captain, Boxley was named to the Everett Herald All-Area first team, all-WESCO South second-team and a recipient of the Scott Copan Most Inspirational Award. Was a McDonald's All-American nominee as a senior... In the 2005 4A Boys State Basketball Tournament, averaged 12.3 points per game, good for 20th place in the tournament.
Personal: Born April 25, 1987, Mike is the son of Burl and Sheila Boxley. He is majoring in journalism at Seattle University. His brother plays professional basketball in Holland.
