BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The Seattle University women's golf team has concluded play in their final tournament of the 2026 calendar year, wrapping up the Route 66 Invitational hosted by Tulsa Tuesday.

Melissa Gilloz was Seattle U's top finisher, coming in 60th place with +18 over, 234. She had the best round of any Redhawk throughout the competition, carding +3 over, 75 in the second round.

Jean Padillo held the next-best finish, with +19 over, 235 for 64th place. She had her best round in the second, shooting +4 over, 76.

Blayne Brown came in 67th place with +20 over, 236. Brown's best round was +5 over, 77 with four birdies.

Zoe Rubichon was the fourth-best, with +22 over, 238 and came in 76th.

Finally, Alayna Rafique placed 86th with +29 over, 245.

As a team, the Redhawks came in 16th with a team score of +79.

"This was certainly not the performance we expected or the standard we have established for our program," said head coach Marc Chandonnet. "While disappointing, weeks like this provide an opportunity for honest reflection and growth. As we head into the offseason, we need to take a hard look at where we are individually and collectively, identify the areas that need improvement, and commit to doing the work necessary to get better. We have a talented group, but talent alone doesn’t produce results. Our response to adversity and willingness to improve will ultimately define our success moving forward.”

Seattle U will take a few months off during the winter, and will next play February 13-15 when the team takes on the Alice and John Wallace Classic in Palm Desert, Calif.
