FRESNO, Calif. - Kevin Li had a standout showing at The Watney Invitational this week, finishing tied for first place and winning the playoff to claim the tournament's individual title.

"This was one of the most impressive finishes I have witnessed," Head Coach Marc Chandonnet said. "Kevin birdied three out of his last four holes and the last playoff hole to get a win. I know how much this one means to Kevin, because it validates his WAC Championship win a couple of years ago. This was a full field with a lot of amazing talent, and I am proud to call Kevin a Redhawk."

Li shot a -4 under, 209 over the three rounds. Going into the final round of competition, he had been in fifth place, with a score of -1 and five birdies. In the third round, Li shot -3 under, 68 with five birdies, catapulting himself into a tie for first. He then won the playoff hole to claim sole possession of the individual title. This marks Li's program-best third individual win, and his first of the 2025-26 season.

Including Li, three Redhawks finished within the top 40. Ben Ragland shot +8 over, 221 with 10 birdies for 33rd place, and Walker Lamb placed 37th with +9 over, 222.

Jacob Kang finished in 52nd place with +12 over, 225 and Conrad Chisman carded +15 over, 228 and placed 60th.

As a team, Seattle University finished tied for seventh place out of 14 teams with +24 over.

The Redhawks will next take action at the Bandon Dunes Championship hosted by the University Idaho from March 8-10.
