MONTERREY, Mexico - Kevin Li had his strongest showing of the 2025 season in the Monterrey Collegiate Classic, earning a runner-up individual to pace the Seattle U men's golf team. The Redhawks finished eighth of 12 teams with a score of +2 over.

Li made a statement in his final performance of 2025, shooting -7 under 209. He finished -4 under with six birdies in the first round, -3 under with six birdies in the second round, and even par with four birdies in the third. Before today, his best finish of the season was -2 under for 19th place.

"I am excited to see Kevin finish off the fall season with a strong performance," said head coach Marc Chandonnet. "Kevin is used to the type of grass we competed on, and his experience proved to be helpful. His finish was extra impressive considering his driver broke early in the round and he was unable to use the club, putting him at a disadvantage against the field."

Jacob Kang, who competed as an individual, finished 30th, shooting +2 over 218 with eight birdies and an eagle.

Ben Ragland finished +4 over 220, good for 36th place overall. Walker Lamb, Conrad Chisman, and Will Koch all finished tied for 39th with +5 over 221.

This was the Redhawks' final tournament of the fall season. They will next compete at the Bill Cullum Invitational from February 1-3, 2026.
