FULLERTON, Calif. - Coming off their first win of the season, Seattle U men's soccer will once again return to California this time to battle Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, Sep. 18. The match is scheduled for a 7:30pm PT kickoff and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
Seattle U is 2-0 all-time vs Cal State Fullerton, with a win at home and on the road. The Redhawks have not allowed a goal in either meeting.
LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks and Titans last faced each other in 2023, a 2-0 win for the SU in California. After a scoreless first half, Jeremy Opong and James Morris both scored while Charlie Lanphier was called on to make just one save in the shutout.
OFFENSE BACK ON TRACK
After a slow start to the season, the Redhawk offense erupted for four goals in a win over UC Davis last Saturday. Yeider Zuluaga recorded a brace while Lars Thorne-Thomsen and Ismael Yeo both scored their first collegiate goals.
DALIGCON TIES PAT RANEY
With the win over UC Davis, Head Coach Nate Daligcon secured his 25th win and tied Pat Raney (1981-85) for 4th all-time in Seattle U program history. His 24 wins through his first two seasons are second to only Brad Agoos (27, 2006-11) in the program’s history.
BACK-TO-BACK TOURNEYS
Seattle U is coming off back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances for the first time in their Division I history. The last time the Redhawks made two straight national tournaments was 2003-2004, when the Redhawks won the National Title following a first round exit the year before.
FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 10 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 83-19-14 during their time in the WAC. Their win total and conference championships are both conference records.
LANPHIER JOINS TOP 10
After securing the shutout victory on Saturday, goalkeeper Charlie Lanphier picked up his 22nd win and tied Jeremiah Doyle (98-04) for 10th all-time in the program’s career win list.
ZULUAGA LEADING THE WAY
Yeider Zuluaga has been outstanding in his senior season with the Redhawks, leading the team in goals (4) and assists (2). He is the only SU player with multiple goals and assists this season.
A SEASON OF FIRSTS
Of the Redhawks eight goals this season, three of them have been career firsts. Ismael Yeo, Lars Thorne-Thomsen, and Allen Say Blegay Jr. all scored their first collegiate goals last week. Goalkeeper Charlie Lanphier also recorded a career first, assisting on a goal in the Missouri State game.
4th FOR THE NEWCOMERS
Seattle U came in a tie for 4th place in the Preseason WCC Coaches Poll, level with San Francisco. San Diego, last season’s conference winner, was picked 1st, followed by Oregon State and Portland. The Redhawks also received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason poll.
