BREMERTON, Wash. – Paced by sophomore Will Koch's 21st place finish, Seattle University men's golf wrapped up the 2024-25 season Wednesday following the conclusion of the 54-hole NCAA Regional at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash.
Koch finished +1 over on his way to the best individual finish in NCAA competition since Joe Harvie tied for 17th in 2017. The Portland, Ore., native shot a -3 under 69 in Monday's first round to sit in a tie for third overall, then shot +3 over 75 and +1 over 73 in the final two rounds.
Conrad Chisman finished in 59th place at +12 over. Kevin Li and Ben Ragland tied for 63rd at +15 over. Li and Ragland both recorded a low round of +1 73.
Walker Lamb had two strong rounds before stumbling in Wednesday's final round. He finished in a tie for 69th at +17. The freshman's best round was on Tuesday when he shot a +2 over 74.
This marked Seattle U's fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament, second as a team. Li (2024) and Nathan Cogswell (2019) earned individual berths following their individual Western Athletic Conference titles. The 2017 squad won the WAC Championship team title and went on to compete in the NCAA Regional hosted at Aldarra Golf Course in Sammamish, Wash.
