ARLINGTON, Texas - For the second time this year, Kevin Li has earned Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week. This time, Li earned the honor after being Seattle Univeirsity's highest finisher at the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational, where he finished fourth with a score of -4 across 54 holes. This is Li's second career WAC Golfer of the Week award, with both coming this year.

At the Redhawk Invitational, Li was phenomenal, finishing just four strokes back from first and two from second at -4 overall. Two of his three rounds were under par: a -2 under, 69 in round one and a -3 under, 69 in round three bookended a +1 over, 72 in round two. Li has been at least -2 under par in eight rounds this year, including in three of his last five rounds across the last two competitions.

Over the last two tournaments, Li is averaging a single-round score of 71. His worst finish over the last four competitions was 13th at the Bandon Dunes Championship. In the last two competitions, he has finished fourth (Redhawk Invitational) and second (UC San Diego Invitational).

Li is one of five Redhawks to earn multiple WAC Golfer of the Week awards during Marc Chandonnet's tenure as head coach. He joins Nathan Cogswell, Jack Rahon, Joe Harvie, and Patrick Sato in that regard.

The final regular season competition is next for Li and the Redhawks. Seattle U will take part in the UC Santa Barbara Inviational on April 7 and 8 in Santa Barbara, California. After that, it will be off to the WAC Tournament in Payson, Arizona, beginning April 25.
