HOUSTON - Seattle U men's and women's swimming got off to a great start at the Western Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championship. Day one of the event, which was comprised of preliminaries and finals, was highlighted by women's 200 Medley Relay and men's 800 Freestyle Relay school records being set, along with and Danielis Kvederis in the 200 Freestyle extending what was already a school record.
"Excited we got off to a great start tonight with three new school records and nearly all best times and splits across the board," said head coach Joe Dykstra. "Now we've got to keep that momentum rolling into individual event qualifying tomorrow morning."
