COLFAX, Wash. – An historic run of races continued for the Seattle University Redhawks, who saw multiple personal and program bests at the NCAA West Regionals. As a team, the women finished 17th, the best finish in women's Redhawk history and just behind the all-time program record of 16th, recorded by the men's team in 2012. By point total, the women's 522 points is the fourth-best in the program's Division I history: only the men's team in 2016 (495 points) and 2012 (451 points) and the women's team in 2014 (501 points) have scored better.

Azalea Groleau had the best finish at Regionals in Redhawk history, finishing 38th, an improvement of 32 spots from 2023. For the men, Lance Mason had the best finish with his time of 32:33.0.

After setting new program records in each of the last two races, Groleau once again broke the 21-minute barrier with a 20:31.8. She finished 38th overall, the best finish in SU history for an individual.

Lilianne Hargreaves also broke 21 minutes, joining Groleau and Olivia Stein as the only Redhawks ever to do so in the 6k. Hargreaves ran a 20:59.3, a new personal best and the third-fastest 6k in program history that was good for 66th overall.

Two other Redhawks set new personal bests: Lydia Dale and Jordan White, who each did so for the second consecutive week. Dale ran a 22:19.2, while White ran a 23:00.0.

Six of seven runners set new career bests in the 10k for the men. Jeremy Posdon (33:04.6), Alex Jensen (33:10.2), Seku Sanders (33:22.6), Porter Buck (33:38.9), Aidan Loeffelman (33:48.3), and Dylan Irey (36:10.0) all had their fastest collegiate 10k times ever.
