OREM, Utah - Just one week after setting a new program record, Azalea Groleau broke her own best, this time with a 20:28.48 in the 6k. That was good enough for a seventh-place finish overall for Groleau, with the Seattle University Redhawks finishing fourth of nine teams on the women's side.
Groleau shaved almost 20 full seconds off the Redhawk record, besting her own previous time of 20:44. Groleau is one of only two Redhawks ever to break the 21-minute mark, along with Olivia Stein, who ran a 20:58 in 2019. Groleau has done so on three separate occasions now, including in back-to-back races.
Groleau earned All-WAC First Team, her second career All-WAC honor after earning Second Team in 2024.
Lilianne Hargreaves ran a 21:17.77, finishing 16th. Diana Camargo Solis set a new personal best with the sixth-best time in Seattle University history, running a 21:18.91. both Hargreaves and Camaro Solis earned All-WAC Second Team.
McKenna White made her way into Seattle University's all-time top 20 with a personal-record time of 21:50.20, 17th in Redhawk history. Jordan White set a new personal best with a 23:05.26. Lydia Dale also set a new personal best with her time of 22:37.27.
Jeremy Posdon was the top finisher on the men's side with his time of 25:45.80. Aidan Loeffelman set a new personal best with a 26:15.67.
The NCAA West Regional comes up next for the Redhawks. That race will take place in Colfax, Washington on November 15. The Redhawks already ran once in Colfax this season, at the Cougar Classic in September.
