MONTERREY, Mexico - Four Redhawks finished under par as Seattle University finished at -7 as a team at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic. Liam Gill led the way with a career-best -10, good for fifth overall in the tournament.

Gill finished strong, putting up a -5 under, 67 in round two that was a new career-best round. The senior quickly bettered that with a -7 under, 65 in round three that was the third-best round to par in Seattle University history, behind only Nathan Cogswell and Justin Goar, who each recorded rounds of -8 under. The Redhawks shot -10 as a team in round one and -2 as a team in round three at the 54-hole tournament. The -10 first round was Seattle University's second-best round of the season, just behind the -12 from round three at the Palouse Collegiate. Four of the six Redhawks competing this weekend finished under par across 54 holes.

Walker Lamb finished tied for 13th with a score of -6 overall. He had two rounds of -3 under, 69, his two best rounds of the season. Lamb has now recorded a score of par or lower in four of his last six rounds.
