SEATTLE - Seattle U women's basketball (1-19, 1-10 WAC) concluded this week's action at home on Saturday afternoon, falling to California Baptist, 77-86. The Western Athletic Contest (WAC) took place at the Redhawk Center on the campus of Seattle U in Seattle.

SEATTLE - Seattle U women's basketball (1-19, 1-10 WAC) concluded this week's action at home on Saturday afternoon, falling to California Baptist, 77-86. The Western Athletic Contest (WAC) took place at the Redhawk Center on the campus of Seattle U in Seattle.

Both Peyton Howard and Mya Moore set new career-highs in rebounding in route to double-dobule performances, with the former logging 11 and the latter grabbing 13. Moore finished the evening second on the team in scoring (15), while Howard was one of four Redhawks in double figures (10). 

Julianna Walker led Seattle U in scoring on the day, knocking down a season-high five three pointers in a 17 point performance. 

Makayla Moore chipped in 10 points, while Noemie Bariteau set a new career-best in rebounding at seven.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Redhawks started off strong and fast today, opening on a 12-2 run that was capped off by this three from Julianna Walker.

A back-and-forth second quarter saw Seattle U keep it close at the half, trailing by just five points thanks to this three from Aannah Interrante

The Redhawks fought back throughout the entire third quarter, getting it as close as two points with five minutes remaining in the period.

Seattle U made it just a three point deficit at the beginning of the fourth quarter but CBU held the lead until the end.
