SEATTLE, WA - Seattle U track and field continued their indoor season this Friday and Saturday, featuring impressive performances, most notably from grad transfer Yonas Sauers who set a new school record in the men's indoor 3k. Sophomore Miguel Rosario also continued his impressive indoor season by winning the final of the 60 meter dash.
Sauers finished the men's 3k with an impressive time of 8:16.42, beating the previous record of 8:20.78 by over 4 seconds. This was a 6 second improvement on his personal best from two weeks ago at the UW Invitational.
Sophomore Azalea Groleau also had an incredible performance in the 3k, earning a second-place spot in school history with her time of 9:46.46, lowering her indoor personal best (10:15) by 29 seconds from two weekends ago.
Rosario continued his dominance in the men's 60-meter dash with his time of 6.74, finishing in first place overall out of 43 total competitors in the event. Rosario previously set a new school record in the 60 meter dash at the Redhawks last meet on January 27 with a time 6.69.
The Redhawks had a number of top ten performances and fourteen personal bests in the meet, this brings them a total of thirty-four personal best performances so far this season.

- Zoe Tibbo: 5th place in women's long jump (5.15m), 10th place in women's triple jump (10.90m).
- Alex Jensen: 7th place in men's 800m (1:55.24).
- Jamaari Jefferson: 8th place in men's long jump (6.24m).
- Manthita Wague: 9th place in women's long jump (4.98m).
