History with the Thunderbirds
This will be the third meeting all-time between the Redhawks and Thunderbirds, and the second meeting this season. The Redhawks have yet to drop points to the Thunderbirds in the short history, going 2-0. Seattle U took down Southern Utah, 4-0, just one week ago at Championship Field. Caroline Penner, Sarah Creighton, Makinzie Packwood, and Emma de la Cruz all scored in the match.
All-WAC Honors
The Redhawks were well represented in the conference's post season awards, taking home two of the top four end of year honors. Highlighting the awards was Kait Raffensperger being named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and goalkeeper Kassidy Kirgan being named Freshman of the Year.
Raffensperger was also named First Team All-Conference, the only Redhawk to make the team. Jourdyn Curran, Kailee Wilson, and Caroline Penner were named to the Second Team. Katie Piburn joined Wilson and Kirgan on the All-Freshman Team.

Seattle U ended the 2023 regular season on a 7-match unbeaten streak. In that run they outscored their opponents 17-1, not allowing a goal in their final four games.
