"Today was a very special day for our team," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "I am excited for our men to have finally realized their group potential as I knew they always had this level of play in them. This is one of the most talented teams to ever be assembled at Seattle U and hopefully this performance will build our confidence. Everyone will need to stay sharp to keep their place in the lineup as we have eight very talented, hard working and positive athletes. This combined with our great practice regimen should be a recipe for success throughout the rest of the season."

SU's top individual finisher was graduate student Jack Rahon (71-71-66), tying for eighth with a three-round total of 208 that marked his highest finish of the season. Rahon converted seven birdies in the final round to mark a new career-low round of five-under par 66.

Sophomore Liam Gill also set career-best performances at this tournament, marking highest overall finish (ninth), lowest three-round total (209) and low round total (68). Graduate student Nathan Cogswell (70-74-67) finished tied for 16th overall after a strong third round, while junior Blake Kukula (75-72-66) was the third Redhawk to post a career-low round on the final day with a five-under 66. Rounding out the team score is freshman Ben Ragland who finished with a three-round total of 218 (72-74-72).

Seattle U will have one week off before returning to action at the Oregon State Beaver Invitational in Corvallis, Ore., from Oct. 10-11.
