"I am extremely proud of Sam and appreciative of her commitment to excellence," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "This level of golf is a culmination of all her hard work and just a taste of what she is capable of."

The 2022 All-WAC First Team member began the tournament with a phenomenal round, converting five birdies on the back nine to go along with seven overall plus an eagle. Bruce finished tied for 11th with a three-round total of six-under 210 (64-73-73).

Sophomore Rivekka Jumagulova (77-70-72) performed at her best in round two after a slow start, while senior Azumi Arai (75-78-74) followed with a strong performance in round three. Freshman Aaryanna Morris (73-77-78) made her collegiate debut and sophomore Annika Cruz rounds out the team score with a three-round total of 232 (76-79-77).

The Redhawks will have a quick turnaround from here, returning to action in five days at the Gonzaga Invitational in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
