SJSU: At San Jose State University, Bruce competed at the Minnesota Invitational (Sept. 10-11), finishing three rounds with a 75.67 stroke average and a second round of even-par 72.
High School: Bruce competed at the 2018 Girls Junior PGA Championship… in 2017, she qualified for the U.S. Girls Junior Championship… won the 2017 Faldo Series Phillippines Championship for Girls Under 21… competed in the 12th Faldo Series Grand Final… was a member of the Phillippine women’s national team from 2015-17… with that team, played at the 2017 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup… also won the 2015 Kartini Cup with the Phillippine women’s team… Bruce spent four years on Assumption College’s varsity women’s golf team… with the school team, took third place in the 2015 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Schools Championship.
Personal: Samantha Bruce placed second overall in the 2013 Ladies Pilipinas Golf Tour (LPGT) Q-School… at Seattle U, she is majoring in business analytics and is hoping to become a doctor… in high school, she was awarded math honors during all four years… was a Committee of Order and Peace officer in her junior and senior years… was a member of the Program of Excellence in Mathematics in her junior year… was class marshall in her senior year.
