SEATTLE – The Redhawks clinched their 15th consecutive WAC series win, taking both games in a doubleheader against Dixie State, winning 2-1 and 8-0.
Seattle U moves to 20-14 overall and 6-2 in WAC play after today's games.
The Redhawks had excellent pitching performances in both games, giving up just one run across 13 innings of work. Stefanie Madrigal and Grace Luderer each earned complete-game victories, with Luderer picking up her first career shutout.
Madison Kahwaty was vital for the Redhawk offense, driving in four runs across two games, including both runs in game one. Carley Nance hit her sixth career grand slam in game two.
