SEATTLE  – A big weekend ended strong for the Seattle U Redhawks, who had three more all-time top-ten times to make it 11 on the weekend. The Redhawks would record one new top-ten time on the men's side and two on the women's side in the conclusion of the three-day meet against Simon Fraser.

Cole Lanting, who had already worked his way into Seattle U's top ten in the 200 IM and 200 Free this weekend, did it again in the 100 Free. His prelim time of 45.20 was the third-fastest in Seattle U history. Lanting was also a part of the second-place 400 Free Relay team that swam a 3:05.22 along with Nicholas Imig, Noa Copp, and Connor Barringer.

Sammy Mosier also worked her way into the top ten in the 100 Free. Her time of 52.20 was the eighth-fastest in Seattle U history, just behind Jayna Van Stone.

Mosier would help the Redhawks record a new top-ten time in the 400 Free Relay as well. The team of Mosier, Maggie Robben, Emilia Culberson, and Allison Plamondon swam a 3:30.76, the ninth-fastest time ever.

In the 1650 Free, Seattle U's duo of Juan Varela and Michaela Day had impressive performances. Day swam a 17:46.83 to take second in the vent. Varela, who already owns the second-fastest mile swim in Seattle U history, had a time of 16:12.10.

Will Corona set a new season high for the Redhawks in the 200 Back, swimming a 1:52.05 that shaved six seconds off his previous season high. Kyle Bailey's 200 Breast time of 2:06.69 was also a new season best for the Redhawks.

Lydia Genson also set a new season high in the 200 Back with her time of 2:09.76. Kalie Bui took second in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:24.78 and came close to setting a new season high for the Redhawks, only for teammate Danika Himes to swim a 2:23.48 that was a new season best.

The Redhawks will next be in action on January 15 and 16. The women will compete with Washington State and Idaho in Pullman, Washington, while the men take on Simon Fraser there.
