Men's Golf Announces 2021-22 Schedule

SEATTLE – Seattle U men's golf has announced its 2021-22 regular season schedule, featuring four fall and six spring tournaments. The men's final tournament is for the all-important Western Athletic Conference Championships, which will take place from April 29-May 1 at Boulder City Golf Course in Boulder City, Nevada.

SEATTLE – Seattle U men's golf has announced its 2021-22 regular season schedule, featuring four fall and six spring tournaments. The men's final tournament is for the all-important Western Athletic Conference Championships, which will take place from April 29-May 1 at Boulder City Golf Course in Boulder City, Nev.
 
"I am very excited and thankful for the opportunities we have this year," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "I can't wait to host our own invitational event at one of the finest courses in the Pacific Northwest. I am feeling as confident as ever in our program and know our young men will represent Seattle University positively."
 
Seattle U opens the season close to home at the UW Husky Invitational in Bremerton, Wash., from September 20-21. Seven days later, The Redhawks make their return to Fresno, Calif., to compete in their fourth consecutive Nick Watney Invitational hosted by Fresno State from September 27-28. Next, they will travel to Beaverton, Ore., to participate in the Oregon State Beaver Invitational from October 11-12 and conclude their fall schedule at the St. Mary's Invitational in Pebble Beach, Calif., from November 8-10.
 
The spring schedule begins when SU travels to Coto De Caza, Calif., to compete in the Orange County Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine from February 7-8, followed by a trip to Palm Desert, Calif., to participate in the Cowboy Classic hosted by Wyoming from March 2-4. The Redhawks will then travel to Oregon for two tournaments that they also competed in last season, starting with the Bandon Dunes Invitational hosted by Idaho in Bandon Dunes from March 6-8 and concluding with the Duck Invitational hosted by Oregon in Eugene from March 21-22. Seattle U will host its sole event of the season with the Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., from April 4-5 and will finish its regular season schedule in El Macero, Calif., at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational from April 20-22.
 
This year's squad introduces two transfers, Alex Fowke and Harrison Murphy, along with freshman Liam Gill. The Redhawks return sophomore Blake Kukula and seniors Federico Gutierrez, Jack Rahon and 2020-21 All-WAC First Teamer Nathan Cogswell.
