Women's Golf Announces 2021-22 Schedule

SEATTLE – Seattle U women's golf has announced its 2021-22 regular season schedule, featuring five fall and five spring tournaments, followed by the Western Athletic Conference Championship in Kerrville, Texas, from April 18-20.

SEATTLE – Seattle U women's golf has announced its 2021-22 regular season schedule, featuring five fall and five spring tournaments, followed by the Western Athletic Conference Championship in Kerrville, Texas, from April 18-20.
 
"I am very excited and thankful for the opportunities we have this year," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "I can't wait to host our own invitational events at some of the finest course in the Pacific Northwest. I am feeling as confident as ever in our program and know they will represent Seattle University positively."
 
The Redhawks open the season with a trip to Springville, Utah, to compete in the Utah Valley Wolverine Invitational from September 13-14. Five days later, they head to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, for the Gonzaga Invitational from September 19-21. Seattle U will start off October in Las Cruces, N. Mex., at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational from October 4-6. The following week, SU will host the Pat Less Harbottle Invitational in Tacoma, Wash., at the Tacoma Country & Golf Club from October 11-12. The fall season concludes with a trip to Boulder City, Nev., from October 24-26 as the Redhawks take part in the Clash at Boulder Creek hosted by NAU.
 
The Redhawks will open their spring schedule at the Mountain Classic Match Play hosted by Wyoming from February 14-15 in Palm Desert, Calif. They will then head to the GCU Lopes Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz., from February 28-March 1 where they finished third out of 15 teams last season. Returning graduate student Keisha Lugito lead the Redhawks with a top-10 finish. The following week, has them traveling to St. George, Utah to compete in the Pizza Hut Invitational hosted by Southern Utah from March 10-12. SU will then return to Arizona for the Wyoming Cowgirl Invitational in Maricopa from April 4-5. Returning All-WAC Second Teamer, Samantha Bruce, posted a sixth-place finish at the Wyoming Cowgirl Invitational last season as the Redhawks took home sixth out of 20 teams. Seattle U will finish out the spring season by cohosting the Pacific Northwest Women's Invitational with Washington at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., from April 11-12.
 
This year, Seattle U introduces six newcomers in Annika Cruz, Maria Fedorowycz, Rivekka Jumagulova, Shayna Lu, Konomi Matsubara and Samantha Yates. The returners include juniors Azumi Arai and Megan Kelly, senior Samantha Bruce and graduate students Vendela From and Keisha Lugito.
