SEATTLE — Seattle U volleyball resumes action at home as it hosts conference newcomer Dixie State. The Redhawks were forced to postpone their trip to Chicago due to heavy snowfall and are looking to rebound after a tough 0-4 start to the season. The Trailblazers are coming off a series swept of California Baptist. The first of two matches is set for Monday, Feb. 22 at 6 pm PT with the closer slated for Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 2 pm PT. 

Redhawks x ESPN
The unorthodox Spring 2021 campaign marks the inaugural season for Seattle U volleyball being broadcasted on ESPN+. Every home match this season will on the World Wide Leader's subscription based app exclusively in the United States. International audiences will be able to watch the Redhawks on the WAC Digital Network.

Opponent Preview: Dixie State
•    Dixie State began the week at 5-4 overall and 4-4 in WAC play.
•    The 2021 season is Dixie State's first as a member of Division I and the WAC.
•    The Trailblazers were 42-14 in their final two seasons in Division II, including a 22-6 record in 2018 that saw them appear in the NCAA Div. II South Central Regional.

•    Head coach Michelle Cole is looking for her first win at the helm of the program. 
•    Tijana Milojevic is four aces shy of 100 in a career ...  she will be the eighth player since the program's return in 1999 and first since 2016 to reach the century mark ... she is currently eighth all-time, trailing Iris Ivanis (100) for seventh ... Casey Hussey (104) is sixth all-time.
•    Milojevic is the program's Div. I-era career leader in digs as began the week with 1,559 ...  she trails all-time program leader Maggie Safranski's mark of 2,008.
•    Milojevic began the week playing 346 career sets and is ninth in the team's Div. I-era ... she is 22 sets shy of passing Matea Mamic for eighth.
•    Eve Kerschenbaum started the week with 559 career kills  ... she 41 shy of 600 and 71 kills short of breaking into the Seattle U Div. I-era Top 10.
•    Julia Queiroz began the week with 204 career blocks ... she is ninth on the program's Div. I-era charts, and is 15 shy of passing Cristin Richards for eighth.
•    Ezgi Ozkan is ninth among Seattle U assist career leaders, beginning the week with 917, and  is 72 shy of passing Jamie Mellies's (988)  for eighth on the all-time list ... she is also 287 shy of Jacquie Brice (1,204) for fourth on the program's Div. I-era list. 

NCAA Active Career Leader
•    Per NCAA Stats, Tijana Milojevic ended last week ranked 15th among Division I Active Career Leaders in digs and 18th-overall all of the NCAA divisions.
•    Her 4.51 career digs/set was good for 16th Division I Active Career Leaders.
