Update: March 17, 2021 – Under Governor Inslee's "Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery", Seattle University Athletics is permitted to welcome a limited number of spectators to home events. Seattle U's spectator allotment will vary by venue and will be distributed to Seattle U students and "friends and family." Visiting teams will receive a limited number of tickets. There continues to be no public sale of tickets at this time.
Update: Nov. 20, 2020 – In accordance with state and local regulations and in the interest of public health, the Seattle University men's and women's basketball seasons will begin without spectators in attendance at the Redhawk Center. In addition, the board approved updated conference schedule formats for men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball and men's and women's cross country to compete in the spring. Update: Sept. 22, 2020 – On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved a plan to that would allow Seattle U cross country, soccer and volleyball teams to conduct a regular season and move fall championships to the spring. Update: March 18, 2020 — The Western Athletic Conference Board of Directors voted on Tuesday to cancel all WAC competition and championships through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the athletic year. This follows the earlier decision to suspend all WAC competition until further notice and the decision by the NCAA to cancel all remaining winter and spring NCAA Championships.

Shortly thereafter, the NCAA sent out notice that all winter and spring NCAA championships will be canceled this year as a result of public health concerns related to COVID-19. In accordance with these announcements, Seattle University Athletics has suspended all sport competition until further notice, effective immediately.
