SEATTLE - (Mar. 20) A busy stretch of baseball continues for the Seattle University Redhawks as the squad, fresh off a Sunday doubleheader against UC Irvine, packs up for a Tuesday-Wednesday set at University of Portland. The teams will face off on Tuesday at 3 pm, followed by a 3 p.m. first pith on Wednesday.

REDHAWK REPORT
• Seattle U enters the weekend with a 7-11 overall record after splitting a doubleheader with UC Irvine on Sunday. The Redhawks dropped the first game, 3-2, but bounced back for a big 8-2 victory over the Anteaters.
• Austin Lively was a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBIs in the win while Chase Wells went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
• Janson Junk (2-3) picked up win No. 2 with the victory against UCI. He and Jake Prizina (3-0) combine for five of the Redhawks’ seven wins.
• Jake Prizina and Dalton Hurd swept the WAC weekly honors for Mar. 6-12, earning Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, respectively.
• The 17 runs against Pacific on Mar. 12 were a season-high and the most scored since a 17-5 win at UC Davis on Feb. 16, 2014.
• Offensively, the Redhawks hold a combined .271 average. Five players are batting over .300, led by Chase Wells who hits at a .373 clip. Jack Reisinger is batting .373 with 19 hits and 11 RBIs. Austin Lively bumped his average up to .356 with 16 hits and 10 RBIs.
• Dalton Hurd (.344) and Aaron Stroosma (.333) tie for the team lead with 22 hits apiece. Hurd has a team-high six doubles and Stroosma leads the way with 19 RBIs.
SERIES HISTORY VS PORTLAND
The all-time record between Seattle U and Portland stands at 76-72 in favor of the Pilots. Since the Redhawks reinstated the program in 2010, they are 11-18 against the Pilots, including winners of three of the last four.
ABOUT THE PILOTS
• Portland opened WCC play last week by dropping a three-game series to then No. 25 San Diego by scores of 3-2, 2-1 and 8-2.
• The 2-16 Pilots are batting .223 while opponents hit .303. Kevin Wade leads the team with a .294 average. Cody Hawken has the most hits (20) and RBIs (12) on the year.
• Pilot pitchers combine for a 5.83 ERA. Grady Miller is 1-3 with a 3.54 ERA in 28 innings of work. He also leads the staff with 32 strikeouts.
